How to use it
Gives one main reason while implying there are other reasons too. Often with 도: N도 A-고 해서.
Forming it
| 피곤하다 | → 피곤하고 해서 |
| 좋다 | → 좋고 해서 |
| 있다 | → 있고 해서 |
| 주말 | → 주말이고 해서 |
Examples
날씨도 좋고 해서 공원에 산책하러 나왔어요.
The weather was nice, among other things, so I came out for a walk in the park.
배도 고프고 해서 라면을 끓여 먹었어요.
I was kind of hungry, so I made some ramen.
Compared with similar patterns
-아/어서 gives a single, direct reason. -(으)ㄴ/는 데다가 piles up facts but doesn't itself mean 'because'.
